Northern Pike
Christie has exactly one piece of deep structure, and it's the dam. The 180-metre wall at the east end backs up the reservoir's deepest water — the summer refuge when heat flattens the shallow bite. The rest of the year, pike live up the other end, jammed into the vegetated Spencer Creek inflow where the Christie Wildlife Area feeds green water and cover into the lake. Two ends of the reservoir, one fish working both.

Pike want two things here: weeds to hunt, and somewhere deeper to duck when it's hot. Spring spawning happens in the flooded west-end vegetation, but the park closure runs through late June, so you never fish that window — you meet them already set up on the weed edges.
Through summer, the Spencer Creek inflow and the Christie Wildlife Area margins hold fish ambushing perch, shiners, and stray panfish along the green line. When midsummer heat thins the shallow action, the dam basin at the east end is the one deeper card to play.
Come fall the shallow bite firms back up. The winter season is open on paper, but forget it — HCA is blunt that Christie never sets safe ice, so there's no on-site ice fishery.
